Liberal Hypocrisy, Hate Mail, and Democrat Fascists

Just a bit of housekeeping, sweeping silly comments under the rug. I got a whiny comment from the ignorant, or rather "the Ignored." He's from a forum called the Skeptics Network. Most of the forum looks OK, but the politics room seems to be a little used section with just a handful of threads. The Ignored is a typical liberal in that he cannot tolerate any opposing points of view. Those who disagree with him are not worthy of free speech.

That said,
Just wanna give a tip o' the hat and a great big thank you to The Ignored on the Barney Love thread for linking to this great blog. Just for your further edification, I would refer all fans of Barney Frank to my essay on homosexuals in the older posts below (bottom of page).

As to comments, I love them, but they have to be outstanding or especially sniveling for me to publish. Unfortunately, the great Ignored failed on both accounts, so no soup for you. However you did inspire an entire essay, as you personify the liberal argument-which is to shout down all opposition, and belittle those who disagree. So I hope you feel a little better.

Frankly the people you so despise in your Barney Love thread are the American people. Liberals are shocked to learn that their ideas are not embraced by the little people. The liberal's response is anger and defiance. The Democrats will then LIE, claiming protesters are not real people, but paid insurgents of the insurance companies. In fact no one pays them. These people are true grass roots. Nacy refers to them as AstroTurf, but its because she is so frightened that the people might stop her mad grasp for power. When the people speak in anger the libs ingore them at their peril-we WILL remember come election day.

Keep it up. All the bad Democrat behavior, is just going to boomerang back in 2010. And I think that why the democrats rely so much on ACORN, without election fraud liberals know they stand no chance. But they don't care, power is everything to little Liberal Fascist Nazi wanna-bees. (the increasing liberal fascism is the subject of a future essay.)

The bottom line is this: Liberals are the first to extol free speech, and the first to deny it to others. Liberals are hypocrites. Dissent is patriotism when the GOP is in power. But when libs control the reins, dissent cannot be allowed.

Blogs are free, Nothing prevents you from opening your own blog, linking to mine and debating in that form. I may or may not acknowledge your blog, but thats the net.

UFO Skeptic. Part Two. Roswell

Roswell.
This is the UFO Bible. It is difficult for a skeptic because again, there is no evidence.
What do we know? There was a wreck in the desert near an air force nuclear base, that seemingly caught everyone by surprise. The moment the US caught wind of this, it vacuumed up the desert, leaving not trace of what ever crashed.

We know that the radio stations claimed that a downed spaceship had been recovered. And a few days later, the air force changed its story to a downed weather balloon that not even skeptics like me believe.

The stories of dead aliens came later. Indeed much of the stories about artifacts and other such evidence came 30 years later-third hand, AFTER the person in question died. Retireees have come forth and claims amazing things, saying “The government can’t do anything to me now.”
But they all follow the same pattern, no evidence, no proof.

Q) So what really happened?
A) No one knows. But that has never stopped me. So MY answer that follows is pure speculation.

For years I sat on this with no explanation. To explain Roswell one way or the other needs evidence-and there IS none.
It wasn’t until the 1990’s that I think I’ve figured it out.

I saw a rerun of an old seventies documentary. It was about the CIA’s clairvoyance project.
For a secret organization, the CIA was amazingly open about this oh-so-useful program.
Anyone can learn clairvoyance they claimed. Indeed, the news crew was taken INSIDE the CIA headquarters to record an operative describing a top secret Soviet installation. It was even pinpointed on the map!

Now why would the CIA openly show such an operation, and claim clairvoyance was too easy and anybody could learn? The answer is simple. It was a cold war hoax. The Russian spy agencies likely freaked out when they heard an accurate description of a supposedly secret facility! And sure enough, the USSR announced the formation of a psychic research facility shortly thereafter. A TV show was used to waste MILLIONS the soviets would otherwise have spent on the cold war.

Seriously. If the CIA had real clairvoyants…why would they tell anyone?!
But these old programs are the basis for todays New Age Cults using the CIA to prove psychic abilities are easy to learn…just send $15 bucks to this address!

OK back to Roswell. What we saw there was classic Cold War psy-ops. First the air force said we have a spaceship…then they say they don’t….and threaten radio people and newsmen not to publish UFO nonsense. Reverse psychology. People have been talking about Roswell ever since. Certainly the soviets at the time claimed they had downed ships too, but the CIA just laughed, while the commies sweated wondering what military technologies the US would show up with. The follow up is amusing, as the Air Force tried out a number of disc shaped aircraft in the years afterwards. Notice we never used those designs. We may never know how many commie spies were caught trying to steal US UFO secrets, but I’m betting it drew them like moths to the flame.

As for the spy balloon, the US knows it sounds like a cover up, and thats why they stick with it.
If a balloon really crashed on that ranch, tourists would still be picking up pieces today. The govt would only have taken the secret stuff-cameras and such.

So I dismiss Roswell based on three factors
1) lack of evidence
2) Cold War in full swing (my opinion)
3) The stories are TOO good, TOO well scripted (my opinion)

How I would investigate UFOs.

First I would hold a bunch of bake sales and put that fifth mortgage on my house. This will be expensive.
1) Get a bunch of retired police Forensic investigators and scientists. They are the A-Team.
2) The moment I hear about a UFO LANDING, I would fly the a-Team out to the site! If these guys can catch a killer with DNA from a strand of hair on a bush, they can gather evidence from a landing site.
3) Soil samples will tell how wet the earth was at the time of the landing. Measuring how deep the landing pads are, we can tell how heavy the spaceship is.
4) Landings mean ships on the ground. Heavy objects leave impressions. So do alien footprints. Gallons of Plaster of Paris can make impressions of ships, landing pads and dainty alien feet.
5) Who better to find strands of alien hair, and dropped alien matchbooks that a cop? The results will be turned into an active forensics lab to study between working criminal cases.
6) Even if the massive gov’t conspiracy finds that alien flashlight first, we’ll have real evidence to present FOX News. I don’t think Katie Couric could handle such a revelation. This is a job for GERALDO!

Why I do not believe we are being visited by aliens.

I am called an EVIL skeptic on some UFO boards because I don’t believe the silver disks are alien space craft. I read some guy saying how he was chased by multi colored lights all the way to his trailer, and now he believes. “You believe…what? I ask. He answers that we are being visited by beings from another planet.

I think it takes quite a leap of faith to jump from colored lights that seemingly follow your car at night, to: I was chased by an extra-terrestrial spaceship.
This leap of faith is the backbone of the UFO community. Why? Because they can prove nothing.

One believer challenged me to comment on a well known daylight sighting. (It has a name, but I cannot remember) It took place over Belgium. A number of silver discs flew in formation over the country.
300 witnesses. Photos-all fuzzy with no features to be seen. AND the sighting scrambled NATO jets!
By the time the jets arrived, the UFOs were gone. The believer dared me to explain away a dramatic sighting like this.

My answer was not to explain it away. 300 witnesses, photos, and jets all show something was up there. But the key is…what? No one got close enough to see any detail in the silver discs. No photos showed windows, rivets, or license plates. The discs never dropped flyers claiming to be from Pluto.
It makes for a nice story but it proves NOTHING.

Stories like this are repeated over and over in UFO land because they can offer nothing else!

It’s the same with abduction stories. Nova debunked a whole ton of them. UFOs and aliens have become the modern day replacements for ghosts and goblins.
 People believe because they WANT too.

What would prove that we are being visited by aliens? Solid physical evidence. Dead bodies, flashlights left behind, maybe a crashed ship. (I will discuss Roswell in a future post) 50 years of sightings have produced NONE of those things. To explain the lack of evidence, great conspiracies have been created.
The government is confiscating all the evidence! Indeed, it is not just the US, but ALL the governments in the world are hiding evidence, that’s why believers can present you with NONE.

The problem with this is it must be international in scope. If all the world governments know about aliens, then all the leaders would be soiling their pants, clutching at each other in fear of the unknown alien threat.
Even if aliens had contacted the world leadership in secret, the threat of the unknown would unify this world, wars would stop, and unprecedented cooperation would exist. The UN would suddenly be filled with competent men. And Democrats would support defense spending.

Certainly, all the world could not keep such a secret. If I were a reporter, I would travel to third world countries and bribe my way into the hidden UFO files. Does anyone really think I couldn’t buy UFO secrets in Mexico, Africa, or Asia? France cannot keep the secrets we tell her about the War on Terror, how could she keep her mouth shut for UFO’s?

There is a complete and utter lack of evidence.
Photos are fuzzy or faked.
50 years of eyewitnesses have revealed NOTHING solid.
 This is why I do not believe we are being visited by space aliens.

People ARE seeing something
So the question remains; “What is up there?”
We don’t know. That’s why we call them Unidentified Flying Objects.
